Hotel Rooms at the Lodge

This year ALL the hotel rooms are reserved just for us!

We're taking over the whole resort -- it's a beautiful hotel full of secular friends, just happy heathens hanging out by the lake.

We have a special discounted rate of $178! (before taxes) (Otherwise it would be $213 - $235 / night) In 2025 the rooms sold out, so don't wait to make your reservations (they have a generous cancellation policy). Enjoy!

Room Reservations for 2026

Important: Do NOT try to reserve directly from the venue's webpage online, because it will show that weekend as "sold out" -- because all the rooms are blocked for us, of course!

Instead, use the ROOM RESERVATIONS button on this page to access our special reduced group rate! (please do confirm that it's set to the correct arrival date & number of nights that you want to stay).

Note, this year we have 15 rooms available on THURSDAY July 30 and SUNDAY August 3 as well! Come early, relax, enjoy the resort, make it a long weekend!

All rooms feature a beautiful view of the lake and a balcony. Free continental breakfast, parking, and wifi included. The Lodge offers a great restaurant, bar, gym, and pool.

Awesome new lodging options for 2026:

6 Cabins! (and maybe... Camping!)

CABINS: For 2026 we've reserved 6 Cabins (each sleeps 6) for the excellent price of $280/night! (2 night minimum) Perfect for a group, located a 5 minute drive from the Lodge (the NaNoCon venue), or 3 minute walk. Details here, reservations available only through the NaNoCon reservation link here.

CAMPING: By Summer of 2026 the renovations for the park's campsite SHOULD be completed... so we may have brand new, affordable camping options to enjoy! (both for tents and RVs) Stay tuned, we'll keep you updated here (or look for yourself). (Once they're available, camping reservations should be made directly with the Park).

The Lodge
at Montgomery Bell State Park

Montgomery Bell State Park, located 50 minutes West of Nashville, TN, is a beautiful resort set in nature with excellent pool, bar, restaurant, gym, hiking, golfing, boating, and biking options.

Getting There

By Car

For driving directions, use Google Maps (this is important) to 1000 Hotel Avenue, Burns, TN. Apple Maps may show the address in White Bluffs, TN, and takes a very inconvenient back route. Google Maps gives the best route, and is the recommended app for driving directions.

Use the park entrance on US-70.

From Nashville take I-40 W, take exit 192 toward Pegram, then right on to McCrory Ln. Turn left on to US-70 W, and after 17 miles turn left on to Jackson Hill Rd (entrance to Montgomery Bell State Park). Follow directions to the Lodge, left on Hotel Ave. Follow the drive around the lake, 1.6 miles, to the Lodge, and you'll see signs for NaNoCon at the entrance!

By Plane

Nashville International Airport (BNA) is an hour by car East of the venue. If you need a ride from the airport, let us know using the Contact box... we can't promise, but we may be able to help you find a ride!
